Breast Cancer Walk-A-Thon
We are kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a bang! Join us as we partner with the women of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Incorporated (Phi Nu Omega & Psi Rho Omega Chapters and NOVA Women’s Network as we walk 30-miles for Nanci’s Gift!
There are multiple ways to get involved :

About Phi Nu Omega & Psi Rho Omega Chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated
The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Phi Nu Omega Chapter in Alexandria, VA, and Psi Rho Omega in Loudoun County, VA want to partner with YOU in the fight against breast cancer. As an international target, Alpha Kappa Alpha will continue to raise community awareness of critical health issues impacting African-American women. The primary focuses will be breast cancer awareness and prevention, heart health, nutrition and wellness, and care for the caregivers.
About NOVA Women's Network
Join NOVA Women's Network in recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The campus walks/celebrations will give individuals an opportunity to recognize those impacted by breast cancer and celebrate survivors, as well as donate in support of breast cancer research and program development. The NWN is fundraising to support the local charity, Nanci’s Gift, serving families impacted by breast cancer across the DMV area. Our focus is to promote women's health and empowerment across the College while supporting families in our area.
Nanci's Gift 5th Annual Scholarship Reception
Join us on Saturday, September 5, 2020, for our 5th Annual Scholarship Reception. Nanci's Gift will award deserving high school seniors from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia with $1,000 scholarships. Proceeds from the event will benefit Nanci's Gift Scholarship Award Program which enables the organization to further the academic goals of local high school seniors whose families have been impacted by breast cancer.
This year's event will include a welcome cocktail hour with passed appetizers, open bar, plated dinner, dessert, and musical entertainment. We will also feature our annual $5 raffle and silent auction for guests in attendance.
Early Bird tickets are available below for $60.00 per person until May 31st. After March 21st ticket prices are $75 per person. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating to Nanci's Gift via our website.

3rd Annual Nanci's Gift Charity Golf Tournament
Join Nanci's Gift for a day of golf as we raise funds to bring lasting and positive change to families impacted by breast cancer. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, green fees, welcome bag, lunch, and dinner. Special thanks to HeiTech Services, CollabraSpace, and Praxis Engineering!
4th Annual Nanci's Gift Scholarship Award Reception
Join us on Friday, May 3, 2019, for our 4th Annual Scholarship Award Program Fundraising Reception. Nanci's Gift will award deserving high school seniors from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia with $1,000 scholarships. Proceeds from the event will benefit Nanci's Gift Scholarship Award Program which enables the organization to further the academic goals of local high school seniors whose families have been impacted by breast cancer.
Buffet dinner, music, cash bar, $5 raffle, silent auction and complimentary valet parking will be available for guests in attendance.
Early Bird tickets are available below for $50.00 per person until April 10th. After April 10th ticket prices are $60 per person. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating to Nanci's Gift at www.nancisgift.org/donate.

Nanci's Gift Bowling For Breast Cancer Fundraiser
You're invited to an evening of bowling with Nanci's Gift! Join us on Sunday, October 15th at Crofton Bowling Centre for unlimited bowling from 5pm-7pm. The cost will be $20 per person and it includes shoe rentals. Space is limited, so be sure to purchase your tickets today!

Walk W/ Nanci's Gift @ Race For The Cure
Join Nanci's Gift as we participate in this year's Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure on Saturday, May 7th at 8am.
Nanci's Gift will be meeting at 7:30 am at the corner of 12th Street, SW & Independence Street, SW. (Metro Accessible -Smithsonian Metro Stop)

Nanci Young's Book Signing
Mark your calendars! Nanci's Gift's own Nanci Young will be hosting a book signing on Saturday, Jan. 23rd for her very first book My Path To Faith! Proceeds benefit her non-profit organization Nanci's Gift. The Potter's House is located at 1658 Columbia Rd NW, Washington, DC 20009. Be sure to stop by between 5pm and 7pm to purchase a book and have her sign your copy!
